Raptrr

About

Skilled work is full of knowledge that never gets written down.

Raptrr is an early-stage company building a way to turn demonstrations of expert physical work into structured knowledge an organization can keep.

Why this matters

A manual is not the same as a mentor.

Most organizations that depend on skilled physical work already know how thin their documentation is. The people who do the work well can usually tell you what to check, what to listen for, and when something is about to go wrong — and most of that never makes it into a procedure. When that person leaves, the organization is left relearning what it already knew.

Raptrr exists to help keep hard-earned knowledge available to the people who need it next.

What guides the product

A few things we are building around.

Knowledge is the asset

Machines, buildings, and inventory can be replaced. The judgment an experienced person carries in their hands and their head usually cannot — not quickly, and not by reading a manual.

Physical work resists a page

A written procedure can list the steps. It struggles to carry the feel of a good weld, the sound of a bearing about to fail, or the reason an expert paused before continuing.

Continuity, not replacement

People leave roles, retire, and move on. The aim is to keep what they knew available to the next person doing the work — not to remove the person from the work itself.

Where we are

Early, and building in the open about it.

Raptrr is in development. There is no finished product yet, and we are not claiming otherwise. Right now, we are refining how a demonstration of skilled work should be captured, interpreted, and reviewed before it becomes something an organization can teach with.

We are seeking pilot partners — organizations with scarce or retiring expertise, industrial training teams, and the skilled professionals whose knowledge this is really about. We intend to build this work together with them, not in isolation.

The people behind it

Built by a small, early-stage team.

Raptrr is a small team in the early stages of building this company. As we grow and take on pilot partners, we will introduce the people doing the work here.

We would like to build this with people who know the work.

If you lead a team with scarce or retiring expertise, or you are a skilled professional who wants a say in how this is built, we want to hear from you.
